You are my best friend and we have been through a lot together. I know I can turn to you when I need help and when I need a laugh. You know me almost as well as my parents and I am really glad to have a sisterly relationship with you and to be so close with your family too. It has been hard at times not having you around now that we are out of High School and living in different areas, but I am glad that we have been able to keep in touch. I am really happy for you with how college is going, how great you and your roommates get along, and for all the interesting things you are getting to experience. I know you'll go far in life and I hope that we can continue to keep in touch even as our lives become busier and more unique. I never really thought I would get married so quickly after High School, but I also knew that it was more likely for me than for a lot of others just because of how I have been raised and what my church teaches and how I feel. Just because I am getting married does not mean that I will not have time to skype with you or keep in touch- I will always make time for you.
Erica, I would like to officially ask you to be my Maid of Honor. This means you will get to help me along the way as I plan things out, you will be able to help the other bridesmaids if needed, and you will be in charge of setting up a bachelorette party if you so choose.

Of course I accept! I would be honored to be your Maid of Honor (haha, redundancy). I remember the first time we met as locker partners in the sixth grade, and from then on you bothered me until I would hang out with you, and I am so glad I did. I'll see you in November, sistah!
ReplyDeleteP.S. I've never done this before, so we'll see what happens with bachelorette parties and such...?
